Surveillance Data Center

The Surveillance Data Center automatically stores and provides access for all tracking data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Pro Tech's primary Surveillance Data Center is located within a secure area of our Headquarters and contains all of the data storage devices, servers, computers, modems, and equipment necessary to simultaneously track and monitor 100,000 offenders and may be easily expanded, as required. Pro Tech employs 96 phone lines to accommodate communication from thousands of devices daily, an OC12 fiber connection and 8 T1s that provide data communication and backup voice communication. A UPS and back-up generator capable of supplying 150% of the power required to operate the facility at full capability for an indefinite period of time provides power interruption protection.

Pro Tech's off-site, redundant and mirrored backup facility in Jacksonville is at a facility owned and operated by Peak 10 and is capable of providing full surveillance data access with absolutely no interruption of service or loss of data.
