Steve Chapin
President, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Chapin joined Pro Tech as President and Chief Executive Officer in August 2001. His leadership has produced consistent corporate growth with solid financial performance positioning Pro Tech as the clear industry leader in tracking and monitoring of offenders. Mr. Chapin is actively involved with Pro Tech's customers and is insistent that Pro Tech continuously strive to provide world class customer support to all customers, large and small. He has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions in the aerospace, avionics and electronics industry. Mr. Chapin is a private pilot and is a graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering.

Ilan Kadosh-Tamari
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kadosh-Tamari was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Pro Tech in January 2007. A Certified Accountant, he has extensive international experience in a wide range of audit, tax, consulting and finance disciplines. Mr. Kadosh-Tamari holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland. Before joining Pro Tech, he was the CFO for Home Free Systems.

J. Chris Defant
Vice President of Engineering
An electrical engineer, Mr. Defant is one of Pro Tech's co-founders and Vice President of Engineering. He held numerous senior engineering positions in the electronics field, including computer hardware and control systems design at Honeywell Space and Strategic Systems for the NASA Space Shuttle and Space Station Freedom. Mr. Defant is a graduate of the University of Alabama and holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.

David Segal
Vice President of Software Development
An electrical engineer, Mr. Segal is one of Pro Tech's founders and Vice President of Software Development and holds numerous patents in the field of GPS Tracking. Prior to Pro Tech, he was the lead software engineer and technical director for all department software projects related to remote telecommunications control and data acquisition systems for Honeywell Space and Strategic Systems where he won the distinguished ‘Outstanding Engineer of the Year' award. Mr. Segal is a graduate of the University of South Florida and holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and also holds a USCG Master's license. Mr. Segal was awarded Tampa Bay's “CIO of the Year” in 2008.

Richard Nimer
Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Nimer joined the Pro Tech team in March 2003 after a distinguished 20-year career with the Florida Department of Corrections. In 1986, he started the electronic monitoring program in Florida, and is widely known as an innovator and pioneer in GPS tracking of felony offenders. He served two terms on the Board of Directors of the American Probation and Parole Association and served one term on the Board of Directors of the American Correctional Association. Mr. Nimer received his BA from Loyola University in New Orleans and completed his M.A. at Florida State University.

Paul Drews
Vice President of Sales
Mr. Drews joined Pro Tech in July 2004 as a Regional Sales Manager, playing an instrumental role in establishing many of Pro Tech's largest electronic monitoring programs. A former criminal justice professional with over 18 years of law enforcement, correctional and probation experience, he provides valuable insight and experience in program design, development and implementation. He has overseen the project implementation plan utilized at the inception of several major contracts. In 2007, Mr. Drews was promoted to Vice-President of Sales, overseeing all Pro Tech sales efforts worldwide. Mr. Drews holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University Sacramento.

Hope Beall
Vice President of Customer Service
Ms. Beall joined Pro Tech in April of 1996. Since then, she has managed the Monitoring Center, the Inventory Department, the Account Management Team, the Training Department and the Technical Support Team. Hope was the Contract Manager for the first state contract awarded in 1997, and has been directly involved with all of our major GPS and RF monitoring contracts. Ms. Beall ensures that each contract requirement is understood by all Pro Tech departments before project implementation and serves as the customer's liaison with the software development and production departments. She has more than 30 years of customer service and management experience. In 2009, Ms. Beall was promoted to Vice-President of Customer Service. She is a graduate of The University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
